I have finally found my cosmetic holy grail in a range of foundations from Lily Lolo. It's been a lengthy search, I've been an avid make-up user since the age of 14.
Lily Lolo mineral make-up was recommended to me by a colleague – she had also been looking for a foundation that didn't disappear throughout the day, change colour, or make skin greasy or spotty. Not a good look for anyone but we've all suffered similar side effects at some time.
I ordered a few samples including foundation (tried two colours), a bronzer, two blushers and a couple of concealers – and loved the range straight away. I was so impressed I emailed the company to express my delight.
Having experimented with some application ideas, I included a few tips and product ideas. I've trialled products for cosmetics companies in the past, including Jo Malone, Trilogy, Elemis and Kanebo and had generally found that companies value customer feedback. Lily Lolo was no exception and as a result the company's director, Vikki Khan, invited me to provide a regular advice column on the Lily Lolo site. I'll be answering questions about mineral make-up and providing honest, realistic skincare tips and beauty advice.
My involvement in the beauty industry spans more than 20 years and during that time I have made many professional contacts, yet have not been tied to any one brand. I've gained invaluable information and have been lucky enough to get some great tips from numerous independent beauty sources.
