Shade Guide
Porcelain is suitable for very fair skin tones.
It’s important to find the right shade of foundation for your skin tone. Try our inexpensive samples in order to ensure you have an exact match.
Remember to match your foundation to the skin tone on your jaw line, and not on your hand (they may be very different).
If a shade looks too ashy it’s too pale for you, if it looks orange (even the slightest bit!) it’s too dark. With mineral foundation it’s easy to mix shades together as well.
For guidance choosing your shade look at your skin in daylight, you may notice that you have more pinky tones or more yellowy tones, so then choose a shade which matches the undertones.
Looking at the veins in your wrists can also help, if the veins look blue, you’re more likely to have cool colouring, with pinky undertones and if the veins look more green, warm undertones and yellow colouring.
Instructions
For the best results apply your pale foundation with a kabuki brush or a flocked sponge. Shake a little foundation powder into the lid of the jar and swirl the brush into the powder until there's an even covering of minerals on the brush. Tap the base of the brush on a hard surface to settle the minerals into the bristles, this ensures a natural looking finish. Starting at the jaw line, apply the pale foundation in a circular motion applying some pressure. Re-load the brush and re-apply in thin layers until the desired coverage is achieved. If you’re using sample sizes you may find it helpful to empty a small amount of powder into a larger container in order to load the brush more easily.
Please note that whilst we've tried to represent colours as accurately as possible they may vary slightly from the way they appear on your computer monitor. Please take advantage of our inexpensive samples before you order full sized products if you have any doubt about the suitability of a colour.

This is my favourite foundation for my pale skin in the winter. Been using it for over 2 years, I have tried a few brands of mineral makeup brands in the mean time but this has the best texture and result of them all! My skin loves it and my husband always compliments me on how perfect and flawless my skin looks.

I love this foundation and I love Porcelain, which is just perfect for my little reddish skin. I thought it would be too pale, but it actually blends in wonderfully. Outcome looks natural and lasts long!

I've been using this foundation for years now and would not use anything else. This was also the first foundation pale enough for my very pale skin. Thanks Lily Lolo.

I am always the palest shade in any range, but this was too pale for me! I can only commend LL for producing such a wide range of colours, especially for us pale porcelain princesses!
Excellent for pale problem skin, 21/04/2010

My skin is very Scottish in colour - super pale - and this foundation is excellent for me. I ed to mineral make up around a year ago and this is the best I have found so far, not just in colour but in quality also. I started using LL cosmetics because I noticed one of my friend's skin was looking particuarly flawless one evening and when I quizzed what her secret was she introduced me to LL. The foundation is particuarly kind to my problem skin and have seen a positive reduction in break outs since switching. Highly reccomended. Oh and make the most of being able to order samples to get your perfect colour match

I have finally found a foundation that matches my very fair skin. Goes on really nicely, doesn't feel heavy and greasy and looks nice and natural! Brilliant stuff!

Ok so my skin is as white as snow, with cheeks as red as tomatoes and top it all off I have oily skin! I have searched in vain to find a mineral foundation that did not have yellow undertones or contain Bismuth Oxychloride which makes my poor, already red face itch like hellwhen I stumbled across Lily Lolo's porcelain foundation. I can't believe how amazing it felt to have an even skin tone without looking like I have a load of makeup on. I feel so much more confident now, I am really really happy with this foundation
