Lash Alert Natural Mascara

The best mascara ever.

Goes on beautifully, spreads lashes well, not clumpy. However, smudged throughout the day giving a panda look at times. Tried with different moisturiser around the eyes but still smudges, very disappointed.

I love this mascara and wont be changing back. Though during the day it flakes a little bit and sometimes when i wear it from morning to late evening it leaves dark stains under my eyes. The mascara gives lovely volume, length and definition - it's great!!

I'm sorry Lily Lolo! I still love you but I'm disappointed with this mascara. The mascara volumises my eyelashes and gives a nice retro look but by lunchtime it has seriously flaked. Not good if you are dark around the eyes like me (and yes I have got Peep-O). I will save for evening wear from now on.

For me the best thing about this mascara is the staying power - I use oil based eye balm and this mascara is surprisingly long-lasting, no panda eyes at the end of day (lots of conventional mainstream synthetic mascaras fail to pass my oily eyelids test). I've tried lots of natural/organic mascaras (mainly European brands) and there isn't one that doesn't give me panda eyes. The volumising power of LL mascara is also the best I've tried so far among natural mascaras. It really can build amazing volume but at the expense of clumping (hence 4 stars not 5) - as like other reviewers suggest, it doesn't respond too well to 2nd, 3rd, 4th coat without clumping a bit. Clumping aside, the volume and staying power is second to none, not a natural/organic mascara I've tried even comes close, so I'm still very, very impressed and will keep using it.

I was surprised to be so disappointed by the mascara as the eye shadows are amazing, and are the only ones out there that don't cause allergies on my eyelids. The mascara is difficult to apply as its very clumpy, and dries quickly so its impossible to put a second coat on. It also forms small black pieces on the skin under your eyes whilst applying it and during the day. The crumbles get into my eyes and cause them to become horrendously itchy and red. I won't be purchasing again :( what a shame..

This mascara is really good. I've tried so many even the most recent purchase from 100 pure cosmetic mascara let me down as it gave me panda eyes. This is just perfect for me and for the price of it I say its worth giving this a try. I wish I had went for this mascara 1st for my friends wedding over the 100 pure.

I've been waiting for *years* for a good natural mascara at a sensible price, so THANK YOU! I'm 22, so I wear mascara basically every day. This is great, is a really effective mascara for day or evening wear, and I don't have to worry about the effect on my skin when I'm taking it off before bed. Can't thank you enough!

I've tried so many natural mascaras and none of them have the ability to dry so you end up with black all over your face! To be honest despite Lily Lolo's amazing quality, I was half expecting this mascara to have the same problem. But it dries instantly, and it's so lightweight and natural feeling that you can't even tell you've got it on. Goodbye itchy eyes. Hello pretty eyelashes!

Really nice product and the first one I have ever tried that doesn't cause huge amounts of pain when worn with contacts. I can wear it everyday now without a problem. Thankyou!

I waited a long time for this mascara but it is totally worth the wait. Great colour, clog free application and easy removal. What more could you ask for? Cruelty free? It ticks that box too! : ) The only makeup I currently wear is by Lilylolo, and if they keep up the fantastic range they have, then I'll never use anything else again.

I have always bought expensive brands of mascaras in the past which claim to lengthen or volumise my eyelashes! But now I only buy Lily Lolo's lovely mascara!!! I only have to apply one coat to give me gorgeous eyelashes, it doesn't irritate my eyes and is very easy to remove. I highly reccommend anyone to try it out!!!!!

I am 37 (very nearly 38) I am also a beauty therapist so make up is very important to me. Ever since I started wearing make up I have been on an eternal quest to find the perfect mascara! My quest ended with the launch of lash alert, until then I promise you I had tried every mascara ever made and I was applying 3 different mascaras every day to get the illusion of long thick lashes. Now I swear I only use one mascara and it is lash alert. It does everything I need and want lengthens, thickens. It is also a fab price which I would obviously pay triple for but don't need to. Thank you Lily Lolo for completing my quest. Now what next .........

I was longing for this mascara, as I love everything else that Lily Lolo do. It's super value for money compared to any other natural mascara, but I can agree with other reviews that it can be on the clumpy side, and doesn't respond too well to a second coat. However, I was determined to make it work, as other 'natural' mascaras might apply better, but hidden nasties can leave my eyelids with funny little bumpy spots. I've discovered that if I wipe the wand gently at the edge, and then apply it very gently, it goes on well and naturally, and looks great. It lasts really well all day, and comes off easily at night. And it smells great and doesn't irritate my eyes. I have yet to find a truly natural mascara that is utterly clump-free, so I am happy!

This mascara is the best I have ever used.It doesnt clump and its so natural.. I will defiantly be purchasing again x

Having tried several natural mascaras I didn't have much of expectations when testing this, so you can imagine my surprise when I found out what a piece of gold I had in my hands. Lash Alert is definitely not for those looking for a false lashes-effect, but for me it worked like a charm. It separates, gives a nice touch of volume when layered and best of all; doesn't irritate my very sensitive eyes at all.

I was really looking forward to trying out this mascara as I love the Lily Lolo range but am really disappointed with the mascara. I find it difficult to apply,as it's quite dry and gets clumpy very quickly. As it dries so quickly I can't get another coat on without any flakiness. 2 stars for the packaging and also that it doesn't make my eyes run. However, I won't buy it again.

Having tried oddles of mascaras and not been super happy with any of them i thought i might as well give it a try and i am so pleased i did!! It gives me lovely definition, doesnt clump and i dont end up with bits of mascara on my face during the day, one coat is enough for work, a couple of coats extra for the evening and you have a more full on lash look, no irritation and easy to remove. 10/10 Lily Lolo another winning product :-)xx

Great coverage, minimal clumping, lovely chunky applicator and doesn't sting your eyes. If only it came in brown too!

I'm a big fan of several other Lili Lolo products, and I'm so pleased they've brought out a mascara. I'm quite disappointed by it though. I find the brush too thick, as it doesn't do the roots of my eyelashes without getting mascara on my eyelids, so I need to use an eyelash comb to spread the mascara onto my light eyelash roots, to avoid looking like I've got false lashes. With or without the use of an eyelash comb I find the mascara a bit clumpy, and really crumbly. Every time I have clumps which need combing out, but it's impossible to remove these quickly enough before it dries,and this creates more crumbs which get in my eyes during the day. It dries instantly, with no time to make any adjustments at all. I do like the coverage, and the product is good for my sensitive eyes - except when the crumbs get in them! I have to give it three stars for being non-toxic, and cruelty-free. I'm wishing for a smaller applicator brush soon!

This mascara is great for acheiving a natural look as it gives nice colour and definition, yet if you build it up with more coats, it really volumises and lengthens the lashes. For me personally, I find it doesn't hold the curl very well, as it feels as if the mascara makes the tips of the lashes "heavy". The saddest part is that there seems to be some ingredient that I react to, since my eyes start to itch the second I put the mascara on. I've never had this problem before so it's a little mystery.

Really hate to say it, as I love Lilylolo, but this is the worst mascara I've ever had. By far. It flakes if you try to put a second coat on, either when still wet or dry. It flakes with just a slick on - immediately. I literally had to wipe flakes away after 5 minutes. After a couple of hours, it was all gone. I tried putting it on with no traces of other make up or moisturizer on and the same issue still occurred. Unless this was a random bad batch, I seriously advise people to save their money. Sorry!

I like this lot, and can now dump my old mascara which is full of nastiness (and not as good). This mascara gives a really nice, soft and natural look with the first application, but you can achieve more of a 'falsy' look by putting on more coats. It doesn't clump, and get everywhere the way my old mascara did. I'm not crazy about the packaging design, but it's what's inside that counts :)

This mascara is excellent it does not clump or anything yet curls and darkens eyelashes. Best mascara ever!

Tried this mascara for the first time and it's perfectly lovely. It does not irritate my sensitive eyes, gives normal coverage, no thick clumpiness and looks natural. To be honest I'm no real expert when it comes to mascara, I don't expect miracles, so long as it doesn't clump, doesn't dry out quick on application and doesn't sting I'm happy. Bonus is this is natural. Really good to see a natural option for mascara and eyeliner.

My mascara arrived yesterday and I'm delighted with it. It's not thick and gloopy like some mascaras I've tried but still gives a really great coverage. What's more, I can now wear entirely LL cosmetics. Well done!

I am delighted with the Lily Lolo mascara, it gives fantastic definition and extends the lashes. It lasts all day long! Not only that, but it suits my very sensitive eyes. Well done, Lily Lolo, another 10 /10 and another delighted customer.

I've been hoping Lily Lolo would bring out a mascara since I first discovered the products a few years ago, and now they have, I'm not disappointed. Doesn't clump, gives great lash coverage and most of all it doesn't make my eyes itch (there is only one other brand I can use that I don't react to). Well done Lily, perfect mascara, worth the wait.
