NEW From Lily Lolo for A/W’13

August 28, 2013

We are really excited to share our new products with you, new for A/W ’13 we are adding four shades of Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow Duos and two shades of our Natural Lipstick.

Our team have been busy creating these gorgeous new shades that are bang on trend and perfect for glamorous daytime wear or a sultry night out with friends.

The four new Pressed Mineral Eye Shadow Duos shades have been chosen to complement each other and to help you create some wonderful effects. These convenient duos are the perfect size for your handbag and are a mess free alternative to our loose eye shadows.

You don’t need to worry about any nasty chemicals as the formulations are kept as simple as possible with high quality natural ingredients.

Smoky Slate – contains a smoky taupe shade paired with a deep grey. Great for achieving the smoky eye look but with hint of shimmer for added glamour.

Nightfall – Intense navy blue paired with a golden shimmer. Try applying the golden shade on eyelids then using the blue as eyeliner.

Plum Crazy – Deep shimmering plum shade with a dusky pink contrast. Perfect for using during the day or applying using a smudge brush for a more intense, dramatic night time look.

Poison Ivy – Golden Olive green shimmer with a complementary matte rose. The glistening golden green will work fabulously combined with the rose, for a night on the tiles.

Currently gracing the catwalks all over the world, bright bold lipstick shades are a big hit this Autumn.

Our beautiful fuchsia pink (Passion Pink) and deep merlot (Berry Crush)  are our boldest shades yet and are packed with Vitamin E and rosemary extract that will nourish your lips as well as giving you a ‘stand out in a crowd’ pout.

GET THE LOOK

We don’t know about you, but we always love seeing tips about how to get makeup looks, so we’d like to share some of the model images from our recent photo shoot, and how we made them look so beautiful using some of our A/W products as well as firm favourites from our current range.

Below is Emma wearing everyday Autumnal makeup

AW main

Face

Our makeup artist used a mix of Coffee Bean and Warm Honey Mineral Foundation on Emma and a light dusting of Sunset Blush on her cheeks. Flawless Matte Finishing Powder was used over the top to stop shine or reflections on camera.

Eyes

All of our makeup artists used Prime Focus eye lid Primer to extend the wear of powder eye shadow, keeping it smooth and crease-free.

Using Poison Ivy Pressed Eye Shadow Duo, the matte rose was applied all over the eye socket as a base and the green was used on the lower and upper lash lines to create a smoky effect.

As a highlighter, Cream Soda Mineral Eye Shadow was applied under the brow bone to add a hint of glamour.

A coating of Lash Alert mascara and Natural Eyeliner, both in black was added to the upper and lower lashes to finish off  these powerful eyes.

Lips

We think Emma looks beautiful in the new Berry Crush Lipstick, and it really compliments the dramatic eye makeup.

Here is Tess with  more dramatic night time  makeup

AW 2nd

Face

A light – medium shade of our Mineral Foundation, Popcorn, was used on Tess to match her peach undertones, with a hint of Flushed Blusher to highlight the cheekbones.

Eyes

Prime Focus primer on the whole eyelid area, with Smoky Slate Pressed Eye Shadow Duo used to create this look. The smoky Taupe was applied as a base and the deep grey was blended around the eye socket and under the lash line for an intense night time look. To finish off the eyes, the makeup artist used Lash Alert black mascara and good amount of eyeliner on the edge of the eyelid and under the eyes using a Smudge Brush.

Lips

Tess wore the Passion pink Natural Lipstick with Bitten Pink Lip Gloss over the top.
